Top Corner Australia is pleased to have finalised the formal details for the 2025/26 Top Corner Australia Awards Night.
The A-League Ace Medal shall be awarded to the best and fairest player of the 2025/26 A-League season. At the conclusion of every match Top Corner Australia’s assigned voting panel will award a 2-1 vote, with the player deemed best & fairest for the match to receive two votes and the second best to receive one vote. If a player is suspended at any point during the 2025/26 A-League season. In addition to the award, if the voted player’s team did not qualify for the Finals Series. Round 1 the following season a randomly selected fan (from the voted players team) will be awarded $100 (AUD). If the player’s team did qualify for the Finals Series two randomly selected fans from that player’s team will be awarded $100 (AUD) each. In the event of a tie for first place the prize money ($100-$200 AUD) shall be split per the aforementioned conditions.
The Team of the Year will be voted with a 12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote with each team ranked on their individual performance in that round, the team with the highest amount of points for the season shall be determined as the winner, a team of the month shall be announced once every 4 rounds and that shall be the team leading the count for that month. In addition to the award with every endeavour to be given to that team’s captain or manager, at a match to be determined by Top Corner Australia $50 will be hidden somewhere in the vicinity of that team’s home venue for somebody to find with hints posted on Social Media.
Top Corner Australia will also award the Rising Star to a player who;
a) is under 22 years old
b) has played less than 50 A-League matches
c) was listed for more than 5 A-League fixtures in the current season.
The Rising Star Award will be a community driven award where the Top Corner Australia Community will vote for this award and every endeavour will be made to personally given the award to the player.
Votes will be tallied and announced at the Top Corner Australia Awards Night which will be hosted on Monday April 27 2026 at 6:30pm.
